Cons: The publisher has a tendency to be bothersome relating to subscription renewal

Cons: Politics comes up too frequently in the wrong places; Black and white ads

The Bottom Line: Handguns is a fairly good magazine with some decent reading and some good political commentary, but it sometimes gets too carried away, integrating politics into most every story.
