What a Crock!!!

Ok, so I am a crock pot fan. I own the Hamilton Beach 6.5 Quart MealMaker Oval Slow Cooker that I had received as a gift, in addition to two other round crock pots that I have had for many years.

What I love about the Hamilton Beach 6.5 Quart Oval model is the shape. The oval shape for some reason seems to fit my meats a lot better than my other two pots.

I do a lot of cooking for family and friends. Most of the time I have at least twelve or more people over at a time. I use the Hamilton Beach 6.5 Quart MealMaker Oval Slow Cooker to cook my meats. I especially like to cook BBQ Beef in this particular cooker. I use my older crock pots to do the vegetables or side dishes.

It is so convenient to have my meals already prepared
before my company gets here. It is also convenient to keep these wonderful dishes warm just until you are ready to serve. It is important to me to spend more time with my guests than it is to be tied up in a kitchen. I just love it!

With a regular oven trying to keep cooked foods warm can be a nightmare. Most of the time when I try to keep things warm in the oven they tend to dry out. If I let them cool and then try to microwave when ready to serve sometimes the food will loose its proper texture. I have had no problems keeping food with my Hamilton Beach 6.5 quart Oval Slow Cooker. It comes out perfect and stays perfect every time.

When I am not entertaining guests with my Oval Slow Cooker I am tending to use my Oval Slow Cooker more than I am my other crock pots. I use it because it seems to be easier to clean. I also love the more of a modern print that is out on the market today. I can also turn the temperature higher or lower depending on how early or late my guests arrive. I can let food cook all day long if I have the time, or I can raise the temperature and it will cook faster.

My cooker came with a recipe booklet. There are thousands and thousands of recipes that you can find on the internet as well that would work perfect for this cooker. I have even baked cakes in my cooker.

I also love the way that dried beans or peas come out in my Oval Slow Cooker. They seem to come out softer and more even in texture. I would recommend this cooker to anyone who spends time in the kitchen. I would really recommend this as a gift for anyone who hates spending time in the kitchen as well.
