A friend gave us the juicer during a move. Though grateful for the gift, we can kind of see why. We'd always wanted one but weren't sure how much we'd use it and therefore had a difficult time committing money to it. We are very grateful to have been able to "demo" this one because now we know how we will use one and what features are important to us.
We received this juicer used around Christmas of 2006 so we've had it about a year. We've used it between half a dozen and ten times in this last year. We might have used it more but cleanup is a deterrent. It's so difficult to clean, our generous neat freak friend gave it to us dirty.
The first thing we noticed about it is the small chute. Pieces have to be cut quite small in order to get them in the machine. The next thing we noticed is how quickly and easily it leaks. A piece of plastic broke on it the last time we used it.
Overall, we're glad we didn't buy it and wouldn't be likely to recommend it to a friend.
