Don't waste your money!!

I bought this juicer, knowing that it wouldn't extract the most juice or leave the pulp almost dry, but this thing is a POS (piece of ....), much worse than I expected. It's cheap not only in price but in quality. It has flimsy plastic parts, pieces cannot be placed in dishwasher, they stick together and get clogged, pulp goes in the wrong places, has almost no juice sucking power, splatters veggie/fruit all over the inside of machine (not pushed out the shoot into fill container). Don't waste your time on this piece of junk...don't be cheap but something that works and will last. You'll spend a ton more on produce unnecessarily because you were too cheap to buy a decent juicer to begin with. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I can't believe that something like this is being sold to consumers. Then again, for those who don't know what to expect, it could be perceived as a something equivalent to a cheap toaster. Cumbersome and producing poor results. The label says "one pound of produce makes 8oz. of juice" when it should really say "over TWO pounds of very watery produce will produce close to 6oz." Like I said, be a smart consumer and don't cut corners. My old juiceman jr. was much better and that was a cheapo loud juicer too. A Champion or Omega are best quality for the money...also consider a Breville in the hundred dollar range if money is an issue. I bought this 67800 model at a local Target (May 5, 2005) for $35.99 8.25% tax.
