I love this machine. For the price (around $30), it was just right. I have a matchbox kitchen, so it does not take up too much space. It grinds carrots, beets, ginger, any hard root vegetables with ease. You do have to stop after one cup and dump the fiber out, and clean the cutter, or it will clog up and become less effective. I couldn't afford a power juicer at the time, but now I don't think I need one. I only juice about 3 - 4 times a week. You do have to clean it as soon as you're through, or it might be hard to clean if you let it dry. I have my reciept from when I bought it 2 months ago, but Hamilton Beach is a good name, and I haven't had no problems out of it. I recommend anyone who is starting out juicing to try this one first.
