This mixer works great and it costs much less than the Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer

I have one of these Hamilton Beach Eclectrics mixers in the Moroccan Red color and have been extremely satisfied with how well it works. It is powerful enough to make a four-loaf batch of bread with all the loaves coming out great, which means the dough was kneaded well enough. I even made a huge, double batch of cookies that was something like 9 dozen using this mixer and all the flour and other ingredients were mixed in very well. And with the cool design and color it looks great on my counter.

I have friends who have Kitchen Aid stand mixers that they paid much more for that don't work any better. I shopped Kitchen Aid and most of them cost well over $200 but the Eclectrics one was only $169.99. For those of you who are looking for a great mixer at a great price and aren't hung up about having the same brand all your friends have, this is the one to get.

It really surprises me that these other reviewers were so negative, but I guess many times people who have a bad experience are more willing to write about it than people who have a good experience.
