The Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven

Our toaster “took a crap”, so we knew it was time for another one. So instead of buying a regular toaster we went with the Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven which is an oven/toaster combo, great idea on our part. Well, worth the money, except for one small detail, which I will get to later.
Like I mentioned before it’s a toaster/oven combo that fits nicely on any
counter top and doesn't take up much room. And its sleek design makes it look very modern.
The toaster part is wide enough to fit two bagels, two slices of bread or English muffins. There is a lever on the top that lets you switch between the toaster and the oven, keep in mind that you can't use both at the same time. There are also two different dial switches. One controls the temperature which ranges between 200-450 degrees Fahrenheit. The other switch controls the toast color ranging from 1-6.
Since it is so small in size it cooks faster than normal, so keep in mind that the timing of the temperature needs to be decreased to keep your food from burning. This means the whole unit becomes hot except for the handle, so watch out!
Another nice feature it has is that once the toast carriage pops up the unit will automatically shut off when done.
Some cons of this unit are you can only cook small items. Do not and I repeat do not try to force something larger into it. You can do some serious damage that way, not to mention your food is more likely to burn that way. Also the removable tray becomes very hard to clean when food sticks to it.
As you know the price will vary depending on where you buy it from but you will definitely get a one year manufacturer's warranty. This unit is definitely very useful, I know I'm making good use of it. Well worth the money! A good buy!
