Hairspray

Ok, when I was a pre teen, this movie was not that bad, but now that I am older, all I can say is, WHAT were they thinking? I had a friend that used to be a "hair hopper." First it was red hair, then black hair, then short red hair, then bangs down to her chin, then curly, you get the picture right? And Ricki Lake in this movie, how funny! But seriously, after seeing this movie and seeing her now, where did the weight go? If you are a big person and you lose weight you have extra skin, where did hers go? I had read in one of the gossip magazines that she said she lost it naturally, ok fine, but how come there is not massive amounts of skin left? Coming from someone who has lost weight, but still has the skin to prove it, let me know! This movie is ok, but I think kids now a days would say "That is so lame!"
