Pretty Good Solution

I've had my unit for 2 years now. I purchased from Wal-Mart.com and paid by amex to help assure me that if something went wrong I'd have help correcting the issue. I have been pleased with the unit. The loads are small and the drying time is long and very hot coming out. That being said it's great to just throw my dirty cloths in and in the morning or after work have clean cloths waitng for me. Eveyone I show the machine to is impressed. For the forst 24 months I have had no problems at all. Month 25 I encountered my first. I noticed my cloths wer't getting hot and thing soounded different than normal. Being handy I removed the top and back panel and with a little bit of thinking was able to deduce that the dryer fan motor was worn out. I called haier and was directed to a web site to order the parts. The part was $75 and was at my door in 36 hours. I just put the new motor in and things are like new again. In defense of the machine the part wearing out was probably 50% my fault for once over loading the machine to the point where it bucked and probably hit the dryer fan moter against the inside of the cabinet. END RESULT THE MACHINE COST $800 AND WORKED GREAT FOR 2 YEARS CLEARLY A SAVINGS OVER THE LAUNDRY MAT. IF THE $75 I JUST PUTS IN GETS ME ANOTHER 12 MONTHS I'M HAPPY. oh also I almost never clean that lint trap, maybe 2x a year!
