Air Conditioner very noisy

Pros: Has two way adjustment. Remote worked well.
Cons: Noise, Cooling and efficiency not as rated.
Review: I bought this or a similar model at Wal-Mart. It was so noisey we could barely stay in the room. It was supposed to cool 400-700 square feet. It didn't even cool 350 square feet with standard 8 ft. ceilings. A 16,000 BTU is doing a better job of ...
