Not up to expectations :-(

The Bottom Line: This is your choice for lowest cost new freezer just expect quality to reflect it's price. Not for me but perfectly functional
When I made the decision to purchase this freezer from Amazon there were only two reviews: one good, one poor. I assumed the poor review was more about poor expectations and I'd be the exception but was proven incorrect. Product arrived on time but external box portended further issues; as others had indicated the packaging is insufficient but that's only part of the story. The construction of the freezer is of very lightweight material, certainly sufficient operationally but little hope of surviving shipment unscathed; expect dings to exterior. Disappointed with overall condition but I was prepared to adjust my expectations give price/convenience. Mine had to go back because one leveling foot would not function, it had been dropped hard enough on the corner to bend the foot and render it useless.
This freezer is a marvel of manufacturing efficiency which keeps the costs down however materials choice was also compromised. The inside of the freezer is lined with insulating material that dent/dings very easily, appears to be foil-back foam board of some type. Keep heavy objects off bottom and don't otherwise ding inside and all should be well
My first choice was a Frigidaire equivalent but it was more costly, purchase and tax, and required me to go get it. Lower cost and delivery convenience won initially but after returning this freezer due to functional failure of leveling foot I found my orginal choice advertized a week later for similar price. I'm much happier with my Fridgiaire
