The only pro was the price $119 on sale at Target.
Cons:
Very noisy, a lot of vibration in the unit.
The Bottom Line:
Would not recommend-noisy and does not work.

Shame on me for not checking this website BEFORE I purchased this unit! I have used this site to get opinions on many things that I have purchased (or not) depending on reviews. I am so glad this resource is available.
Anyway, bought this unit yesterday at Target. It was on sale for $119 so we thought we'd give it a try.
I would not recommend it to anyone based on the following.
It is very loud, and there is a lot of vibration in the unit. So much so, that it vibrates the water container open. We had it running in our game room in the basement for the entire evening. I could hear it from the top of the stairs (opposite side of the basement) when I came down to check on it this morning. It was not that loud when we first turned it on. Tried taping the water container to the unit to see if the rattling would stop and that didn't work. Also, after running all night long in a very damp area there were maybe a few tablespoons of water in the container.
The manual was good giggle material. Words out of order and misspellings. I guess that should have given us a clue as to the quality of the product.
