Great Decision!

When my wife and I were deciding on a car, we knew that we wanted an "SUV." We did not want the biggest car on the market, but it had to be big enough to transport "stuff" and our dog and allow for passengers too!

We are often "brand-snobs" and had originally found ourselves dead-set on the Honda CRV. However, much to our chagrin, for the features we wanted, the price was well outside of our budget.

My wife did some research and went looking. She found the Tucson and convinced me (dragged me) to the Hyundai lot. I had it in my head that Hyundai's were cheap and not well made. Man, was I wrong!

We looked it over and based on our test drive, I noticed that the car was solid and exceeded our expectations with the amount of features that it included, for a price that was thousands less than the base price of the Honda.

We have owned the car now for 1.5 years (bought a 2006 at the end of the year) and we love it!

The only negative is that when you do have a car full of passengers, the dog in the back, and luggage - the roof rack is a must! But for just the three of us, we are fine.

The other thing that I really like is the warranty and the service department. They were excellent. Hyundai has come a long way from when they started. They have a very robust maintenance program and keep us up to date when we need service or if recalls are in place. We have had a great experience.
