It's Still Fun Driving It

I bought my 2006 Tucson about a year and a half ago and I'm still not out of the novelty phase. I love it and cannot imagine owning anything else now.

When I was researching vehicles to purchase the Tucson was right up there with the Honda CRV and the RAV-4. In a test drive, the Tucson won hands down. The CRV I test drove just about floated off the road on me in dry, bare conditions. The Toyota dealers couldn't be bothered to even come out of their building to talk to me and I did not like the way the RAV-4's had been up-sized anyway. I was surprised to find the interior finishing on the CRV was vastly inferior to the Tucson.

The Tucson is a great, small sized SUV that is perfect for bombing around town and on the highway. The 4X4 isn't sturdy enough to do any true off-roading, but that wasn't what I wanted anyway. The stability of the 4X4 in winter driving conditions is great.

I also liked the fact that the Tucson had a lot of small extras that were too numerous to mention here. And I also liked that the Electronic Stability Control was included as standard equipment in the Hyundais.

I am a very satisfied Tucson owner and would not hesitate to recommend it as a fun vehicle to drive.
