Pleasant SUV

by   queenbeenan65 ,  Nov 1, 2006
Pros: Comfort seating, great MPG, smooth ride, extremely safe, good cargo space.
Cons: Lacks tremendous power. Wouldn't off-road or tow anything too heavy.
The Bottom Line: Recommended for suburban/city driving, or road trips. Good car for seniors (easy in/out, comfort), busy moms (safety, roominess), fixer-uppers/gardeners/shopaholics (cargo space).
Review: This is actually my roommates car, so I'm reviewing from the standpoint of being an occasional driver-it is not my primary vehicle. This particular Tuscon is a base model, without many options/frills. However, being a Hyundai, it still has all ...

Awesome little SUV!!!

by   kennyv281 ,  Feb 22, 2006
Pros: Price, standard features matched by none, safety features, incredible warranty, style/looks.
Cons: Goofy placement of the center consul / armrest.
The Bottom Line: This little SUV is an awesome piece of machinery that will certainly surprise you once you see one up close and personal. Drive it and you will buy it!
Review: I'm coming from a 1994 Ranger 4x4 which just about fell apart from all the rust and corrosion underneath. I wanted another pickup for I am a big time sportsman but also thought having something fully enclosed (a cap doesn't count) and took a look at the ...

It's Still Fun Driving It

by   ginger_butt ,  Feb 26, 2008
Pros: Price, styling, smooth and quiet ride, interior finishing.
Cons: My only complaint, and it's minor, is the windshield washers.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended because it's well built and fun to drive.
Review: I bought my 2006 Tucson about a year and a half ago and I'm still not out of the novelty phase. I love it and cannot imagine owning anything else now. When I was researching vehicles to purchase the Tucson was right up there with the Honda CRV and ...

06 Limited 4WD

by   baxxter ,  Dec 24, 2008
Pros: Handling & control.  Lots of car and features for the money.
Cons: Poor headlight range.
Review: GREAT vehicle for the price.  22 mpg, about average for this class vehicle.  Very smooth & stable ride.  Excellent control and handling.  Good visibility all around.  Luxurious interior.  Nice heated seats.  ...

You can't beat the price for the quality and warranty of this compact SUV

by   sillec ,  Nov 18, 2006
Pros: Safe, efficient, compact, plenty of interior room and I'm very tall.
Cons: I have no complaints about my Tucson.
Review: I got my Hyundai Tucson in February and I've never loved a vehicle like this one. It has all the best options and is roomy enough for family trips. I took it to Dallas, TX from Arkansas the day after I bought it and had no trouble with the handling, ...

Great Decision!

by   samfagan ,  May 19, 2008
Pros: Comfortable ride, lots of "extras" and designed to make great use of space.
Cons: With passengers and the dog in the back, the roof-rack is a must!
The Bottom Line: Buy!
Review: When my wife and I were deciding on a car, we knew that we wanted an "SUV." We did not want the biggest car on the market, but it had to be big enough to transport "stuff" and our dog and allow for passengers too! We are often "brand-snobs" and had ...

Hyundai Tucson GLS

by   jade86law ,  May 2, 2008
Pros: quality for the price, reliability
Cons: not luxurious, but for the price that shouldn't be expected
The Bottom Line: If you can't afford a Lexus RX, this a great quality budget suv with many features for the money.
Review: I am very pleased with the features and quality of vehicle for the money. The ride is relatively quiet (I drove a Honda Civic prior to this which was not a quiet ride). The reliability has been great so far. I was concerned with moving from my extremely ...

Best Value for your lower dollar

by   sarimohan ,  Aug 30, 2007
Pros: Low Budget, Good looks, Huge cargo area
Cons: Less power ; less leg room ; No Rear A/C control
Review: I have been driving this SUV since ten months and no complaints so far. Mine is Hyundai Tuscon GLS4WD with V6 . Got a very good deal from the dealer. You get more features in the car for the low investment and on top of it you will get 10 year powertrain ...

Gas Mileage is what?

by   billvern ,  Jul 2, 2008
Pros: Good radio, still has nice ride.
Cons: Bad mileage, brake rotors develop fractures very easily and warp and paint chips easily.
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a car maker that makes honest mileage claims, Hyundai is not the car you want.
Review: I was thrilled to own my first SUV, a 2006 Tucson. Loved the style, felt nice and tight, interior just the right size and, oh yes, the misses loved it. Can fold the back seats down, put a pad in the back with pillows and take the dogs out with us. At ...
