The Bottom Line: The Harmony 628 sure beats multiple remotes, but the set-up could be easier.
Review: This is my third universal remote. None have been perfect, nor easy. The Harmony 628 is the closest and now that it's all set up - it works perfectly. Push one button to watch TV, the TV comes on, the cable box lights up, and the amplifier starts...

Really good idea. Really bad execution.

The Bottom Line: Ironically, I would only recommend this "fool proof" device to somebody with a very high technical aptitude.
Review: Right from the start this device got off on the wrong foot. It required that the batteries be removed and replaced at every single step of the initialization and upgrade or my PC would stop communicating with it.
The 3.0 firmware upgrage fixed...
