Wii love it
Date of Review: Apr 26, 2008
The Bottom Line: Highly recommend to anyone. Great game great idea great play.
We liked the idea of the Wii when we saw add for it over a year ago but it was sold out ever place we went. Finley we found one in store. Love the idea of getting your but off the couch and being active but still having fun doing it.
I have friends who have other systems and have had Guitar Hero for years. I thought it was a really cool game.
Finally when Guitar hero came out for the Wii I had to have it. But again it was sold out ever place we looked for it. But finally found it and played non stop.
Ok first the good. Large song selection, very responsive cont roles, just and over all cool game. One major plus with the Wii guitar is wireless. I played the other systems and you are tethered to the console.
Now the not to so good. In the easier levels your not really playing the notes but kind of the rift. The harder the mode the closer it is to real note play. Another not so cool thing is each level has the same songs but they just get fast and have to use more buttons. Not bad but would like to see new songs on each level.
Since the Wii has built in Wi-Fi out of the box it is very easy to your system on line. This makes it very easy to get Guitar hero online. The internet game play is cool. Nothing like getting smoked by a 12 year old with way to much free time on their hands.
I like the fact your can not chat or talk with the other person online its just about the game.
Over all love the game love the wii.
