The Bottom Line: A must have for serious juicers and those who care about their health
My husband bought this juicer before we met and 25 lbs of carrots a day went through this baby.. then I started using it for everything else several years later. I juice everything from orange wedges to pineapples, cantaloupes, watermelons, and honeydews - rind and all and the juicer couldn't work better and shoot out dryer pulp. The only problem I have ever had was it overheated once when I was "juicing" frozen strawberries for smoothies.
The juicer comes with many screens so that you can decide how thin or thick you want your juices, smoothies and even soups.
Sometimes when you juice things like peaches it gets a little gummed up but I like to combine fruits, it tastes great and helps the juicer along sometimes... usually with softer fruits like peaches, bananas and nectarines I juice a harder fruit along with it like apples, pears and also veggies like carrots and celery... my fav so far it apple and peach, oh my!
Our juicer was bought and paid for before I came along but my hubby paid several hundred for it.. a bit expensive yes but the best juicer really. According to my health foodie hubby this juicer is better for maintaining enzymes than centrifugal juicers.
But, my only gripe, as the one who uses it most and cleans it most, it is very tough to clean and you need a special brush for it. Our brush that came with it died a year ago and now I use a good toothbrush and a dish brush.
