The Bottom Line: Skip over most of the lower priced whirlpools, kenmores, and other big store "bargains". Go for the Soleus if you want quiet, efficient dehumidification.

Quiet, efficient, good performance, others negative ok for me

The Bottom Line: This dehumidifier is quiet, efficient, and a solid performer. The unit works well. Controls are easy to operate. The drainpan complaints others have made I feel are easily avoidable.

End your search...this dehumidifier is THE ONE

The Bottom Line: Quiet and effective...what else would you want in a dehumidifier?
Review: I live in NH with a basement that is damp for three seasons.  My previous dehumidifier was a 40 pint GE.  It was extremely noisy, often cycled to "fan only" mode, and never seemed to really dry the basement area.
