Greatest Hits are just that, great!
Pros:
Everything, especially Does He Love You and Is There Life Out There.
Cons:
CD only has 10 tracks, so many more great songs could have been included.
The Bottom Line:
It's a great CD to buy, especially if you can only buy a few select CDs for your collection.

Author's Review
I didn't become a fan of Reba's until 1994 when I started asking for certain songs for birthday and Christmas presents and my mom got me her book as well. From then on, I knew I had to get as much of Reba's music as I could. Greatest Hits' albums are a great way to start especially if you can only get a few (or one) album at a time.
The CD starts off with a treasure in itself. The first track is the first duet between Reba and Linda Davis; titled Does He Love You. This song is about two women who are both in love with the same man. Even though these two ladies are great friends in real life, youd never know it with the emotion heard in this song.
The second track is You Lie. This showcases Rebas amazing lungpower. The song itself is about a woman whos man doesnt want to hurt her or do bad by her so he lies to cover it up. The amazing vocal ability showcased on this track makes the already great lyrics advance to outstanding!
The third track is one of Rebas signature songs, Fancy. Even though this is a cover song, originally sung by Bobbie Gentry, Reba brings it up to date reaching an even bigger fan base.
The fourth track was the title cut from the previous album, For My Broken Heart. Yet another way that country music and Reba make a great team for those fans who really need a song to say how they feel when they just can't find the words to express it. The song tells a story of how the woman has a broken heart over the ending of a relationship but then realizes that the sun still shines, life goes on, and everything will be OK.
The fifth track is a light, upbeat tune; Love Will Find Its Way To You. This song tells the classic tale from the point of a view of a friend trying to cheer up someone who feels that they wont ever find their true love. One of the best lines states, Dont you ever think youre the only one, no, somewhere in the world theres a lonely heart looking for someone.
The sixth track is the second track on this album that is a totally new song, They Asked About You. This song tells the story of a woman out with her friends who dont realize that she was trying to mend a broken heart and start asking about her old beau. All the pain comes back as the woman relives all that she felt when they first broke up.
The seventh track is another signature song from Reba, Is There Life Out There? This song has been the means to a turning point in many fans lives. The song talks about how a woman does what she should but wants to do what she dares. This song was made into a successful TV movie starring Reba and Keith Carradine. In the movie, Lily (played by Reba), decides to go back to school after having gotten married and started raising a family. Through this song and movie, many fans have relayed stories about how it inspired them to go back to school and achieve their dreams.
The eighth track is the title cut to an album released in 1990, Rumor Has It. This song was a big hit for Reba. It plays on the familiar phrase, rumor has it while the woman in the song confronts her man about being unfaithful.
The ninth track is an upbeat song, Walk On. It is a personal anthem of sorts for some. Countless times have we heard, this hardship wont last forever, nothing is that bad that you cant just walk on.
The final track is The Greatest Man I Never Knew. Reba recorded this song as a tribute to her father and it has reached for the heartstrings of many of her fans. Countless people have written in to say how the song describes the exact relationship between them and their fathers. How their fathers seemed distant, yet as the woman in the song grew older, she realized that that was the way her father showed how much he loved her. He just wasnt the type to say those three little words.
Overall, this CD is a great mix of Reba classics. The song list is great for those who want to hear something upbeat and fun, or something sad. These are songs about love, relationships, good times and bad. The theme throughout it all however, is just some darn good music.
