Gran Turismo 4 Is A Highway, I Wanna Drive It All Night Long |
|||
|
Pros: Staggering depth.
Cons: Bizarre AI.
The Bottom Line: God help me, I may never see the 100% before I die, there's so much to screw around with.
Review: Hard to imagine that its been almost 4 years since the last Gran Turismo release in the US, but indeed Gran Turismo 3 saw its release in July of 2001, and was hailed as the savior for a new console looking to acquire exclusive, AAA content with fierce ...

King of racing games gets better(revised edition)

Pros: Superior graphics, great physics engine, lots of cars, super realistic
Cons: Scripted A.I., unorganized races and parts
The Bottom Line: Technical and clinical but deep and fun at the same time. Everything that made Gran Turismo 3 great plus a few things extra. Probably the best racing game yet.
Review: In my opinion, the Gran Turismo series has always been the cream of the crop of racing games, and the series has just gotten better with the fourth installment. Of course your enjoyment of this game probably depends on how much you enjoyed Gran Turismo ...

As real as it gets on this generation of consoles

Pros: Stunning driving model, great graphics, amazing depth, perfect with the Driving Force Pro, HD
Cons: No online, simplistic AI, easy to cheat, @#$%&*! license tests, you can still buy victory
The Bottom Line: A massive, deep, game that, with the Driving Force Pro, offers the best simulated driving experience available. It's imperfect and lacks online play, but hardcore car enthusiasts will love it.
Review: Gran Turismo has always been a technical, serious, almost clinically cold racing series. This is not a series for casual racing fans. It's not an arcade series. This is a series for people who worship the automobile. This is for people who love real ...

Ok, so Gran Turismo 3 is no longer the best racing game ever.

Pros: Best. Racing. Game. Ever. 650 cars, 100 tracks, A-spec, B-spec, photo-mode.
Cons: Absolutely dire opponent AI. No vehicle damage.
The Bottom Line: Wave this under your X-box wielding friend's noses and make them cry. This is without a doubt the raised bar in racing games now.
Review: Let's start by telling you that I bought the PSX2 for one game : Gran Turismo 3. After reviewing that for Epinions in 2002, I've spent the last 3 years killing game controllers and obsessively playing the (until now) best racing game on any platform, no ...

GT4 : The Review Of Your Life

Pros: The best visuals on the PS2, loads of gameplay and replay value.
Cons: Some things still didn't change over GT3. Lackluster arcade mode.
The Bottom Line: Despite what the series still lacks, it's very hard to find another racing game that has as much depth and replay value as Gran Turismo 4.
Review: Well, after three and a half years, Gran Turismo 4 finally arrives. The game has been subject to numerous delays, since late 2003, and had been pushed and pushed over until FINALLY Polyphony Digital decided they were finished with development. The game ...

Pros: Sensational Graphics
Huge Depth Amazing gameplay Cons: My ps2 no longer works
The Bottom Line: Sublime racing from the the masters of motor car sims
Review: Having not played the newest edition, this has to sit on the pedestal as the best driving game, some how improving on GT3 in so many ways it almost seemed as though gamers hadn't thought of. Everything from GT3 was expanded, then added to, with the 150 ...

Pros: 1080i, more cars, more tracks, nitrous addition
Cons: AI sucks, navigating through menu's, no damage
The Bottom Line: Get this game if you are a racing enthusiast or a video game enthusiast. Heck, get it even if you are a visual enthusiast!
Review: **GAMEPLAY** The gameplay in this game is fantastic. As with previous GT games the simulated driving experience is as close to the real thing as you can get. The gameplay is relatively unchanged when compared to previous games, but has some exciting ...

Pros: Inspiring graphics, star studded soundtrack and seemingly unlimited tuning customisation
Cons: Very addictive. It isn't a racer, which many people dislike.
The Bottom Line: Good for anyone who likes cars
Review: Say goodbye to your life.... 1998. A year that seems so far gone I can hardly remember it. The twin towers were still standing, the whole world was still bricking it in fear of the dreaded 2000's, the sun seemed higher in the sky, and yours truly was ...

Pros: Over 500 cars, simply AMAZING graphics, many new tracks and old, best racing game available!
Cons: Very poor and predictable A.I. and no online play besides LAN.
The Bottom Line: This game is worth every penny and is a must-have for fans of Gran Turismo or the racing game genre. This game will have you entertained for months to come!
Review: Since racing games have started coming out, the most popular in the entire world has been Gran Turismo. Any fan of the racing genre will say they have tried one Gran Turismo or another. It started for the PS1 with Gran Turismo, with unreal graphics ...

Pros: Good graphics, lots of cars, and lots of good tracks.
Cons: First couple license tests are too easy and the last couple are very difficult.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys racing games because it is the most thorough and most realistic racing game on the market right now.
Review: I got this game a few days after it came out and I haven't been disappointed. There are a couple minor problems with it but they are nothing in comparison to all that is good about the game. My first complaint is that it is no longer possible to ...
