A great pair of cans...

Date of Review:  May 29, 2002
The Bottom Line: Get them, but don't expect isolation from the world
Review: I usually use the Koss Sporta Pro headphones while doing excercise or in the summer (when these babies get too hot), and I needed a pair of headphones that were, well, high quality.

After much soul searching I purchased the Grado SR60s. I...

Musical heaven. THE best headphones you can get that don't need an amp.

Date of Review:  Jul 3, 2004
The Bottom Line: After 2 or 3 hours, your ears might hurt. They're big, but the "cans" swivel 360. The sound quality will make you weep, and then want to nuke Sony.
Review: My brother actually owns these, but I use them more than him :) For under 100 dollars, these are by far the best headphones for a portable player you'll find. OK, so there's a couple sub-100 ones that are better, but if you look closely at reviews...

Nowhere near the hype. Bass will hurt you.

Date of Review:  May 11, 2006
Review: Quality crafting, sounds nice and clear, but not THAT great.

After looking for a great pair of studios for my home recording studio, I blindly purchased a pair of these online based on all the RAVE reviews. They look solid, feel great, and...

Grado SR-60 Headphones: Great Sound on the Cheap

Date of Review:  Apr 12, 2000
The Bottom Line: Recommended - a great headphone for the money.
Review: At street prices of $70 or less, Grado SR-60 headphones are, without a doubt, a great bargain in headphones.

The SR-60's were once the only high-quality headphone that could be driven by a portable CD player, until the Sennheiser HD497...

Great buy!

Date of Review:  Nov 17, 2005
The Bottom Line: I think that anyone looking for professional quality headphones for personal use should consider these.
Review: I purchased the Grado SR-60 headphones on a whim. I had heard that one of my favorite guitarists, Eric Johnson, is a fan of their products. I know that he is very picky and discriminating about audio quality, as am I.
I have a bit of a...

Your pass to live, front-row center seating.

Date of Review:  Sep 30, 2006
The Bottom Line: Can't afford the high-end stuff? You. Must. Try. These.
Review: Consider the recording session: Microphones just so, engineers hovering over control boards, musicians keen on/ever being prodded to capture that elusive take. It's a calculated coming-together of various, often seemingly-contradictory elements to...

So good, I want 2 pairs.

Date of Review:  Dec 20, 2002
The Bottom Line: I've given up on Sony at this price range as the SR60's blow them out of the water. I recommend these wholeheartedly.

Grado SR-60 - No compromises!

Date of Review:  Jan 13, 2000
The Bottom Line: The Grado SR-60s are an incredible buy and they don't skimp on quality a bit.
Review: You don't have to compromise excellent sound if you're on a budget. The Grado SR-60s are an incredible buy and they don't skimp on quality a bit. Definitely check these cans out before investing in a pair of Sonys or any other mid-market headphone...

Grado SR-60

Date of Review:  Jul 23, 1999
Review: This is the most quali-cost effective headphone. This pair is great! The appearance is quite unusual. You wont believe this thing is designed and
produced in last 10 years. However, if you actually put them on and listen to ANY sorts of music,...
