The Bottom Line: As soon as you test this cans you won't be in the audience anymore....you'll be in the STAGE!!! with the musicians...
The Grado Sr325 just arrived this morning!!!! WOW!!!! I don't understand how some people think the sound will be improved through the break in period!!!!! I just don't get it, how can they sound any better than this??!!!! EXCELLENT BASS!!! liquid mids and VERY detailed highs!!!
The sound as everybody say is UP FRONT!!! IN YOUR FACE!!!, and it's nice because you can listen to every detail without turning the volume all the way UP!!! ( I never hear the DRUMS so real!!!) I can not state this one sound better than other Grados, because it's the only one I've tested....
What I can tell you is that if you listen to rock, electric jazz, fusion and electronic music, these headphones are way better IMHO than the Sennheiser HD580!!!! What I mean is that both headphones are both sides of the coin!!!! If you like acoustic and classic I think you'll enjoy the Senns better.....
Well about comfort!!! I really thought they were way worse than they actually are.....I mean they are ok!!! I've been wearing them for 1 hour and my ears aren't bleeding with the sand pads yet...........
I'll plug them to my Denon receiver all night long......waiting for an improvement.......I'll wait....and see.........everybody can not be wrong about the Break in period!!!
The Total Airhead portable amplifier sounds wonderful with this headphones,and makes an overall improvement over the cans plugged directly to the cdp jack.... even though they can be handled just ok with the cdp amplifiers.........
THE GRADO MINI CONNECTOR IS GREAT!!!
Grado states these are the best rock an roll, and electronic music headphones in the world!!! they can't be wrong!!!
One more thing, Headroom (www.headphone.com) is the BEST!!!
