Cute Swing for Sleeping

I bought this swing because it was absolutely darling and it matched my baby's nursery decor.

I set it up when I got it home and it was pretty easy to put together. The only difficulty I had was putting on the feet, but other than that, very easy! All you need is a screwdriver for a couple of the parts.

The swing looked really cute sitting in her nursery, and then it finally came time to use it.

My daughter did not like being in this swing very much so I pretty much avoided it during the first few weeks. One night in desperation while trying to get my newborn to sleep I turned on the sounds to the swing to try and soothe her while I rocked her. LIKE MAGIC! She took to a couple of the sounds right away like the heartbeat and the white noise sound one. So great! I used that during those first few hard weeks.

After a couple of months I started putting her in the swing while I was too busy to hold her and using the lullaby sounds. She enjoys this from time to time.

The most use I get out of it now is when she is having a really hard time going down for a nap I just plop her in this to fall asleep. I really think its the sound that does the trick. I turn the sound on and she's out like a light!

The only thing I don't really like about this swing and should be taken into consideration is that the toy bears that hang from it aren't very exciting and my daughter didn't really notice them until her eyesight started to develop more. They are white in color and hard for newborns to see. This doesn't bother me too much as I really use this swing as a sleeping device now

The swing does fold up to make more room- but it doesn't fold up very small- still its a nice feature seeing as it takes up a lot of space unfolded.
