Worst Monitor

This is the absolute most frustrating piece of equipment we have in our home. We have given it as much patience as we possibly can with having it in our home for over 4 months. We wrote a letter to the manufacturer to see if there was anything we were doing that was not correct, but they were unable to help us with the concern. We are sending it back to the manufacturer as all it does is beep uncontrollably and run out of battery life within moments. If you are the least bit concerned with your child waking up and you not being able to hear him or her, then this is not the model for your home. I would NOT recommend this if you are concerned about your child's sleep. Since we first got this it has has done nothing but cause us problems. We are researching other monitors at this time, and hope to settle on one that will not beep or run out of battery after 10 minutes of not being on the charger. The portability feature of having a belt clip, is irrelevant, because we can not even sit outside on the porch with out the battery dieing in literally 10 minutes time (that is the longest it has ever lasted off the charger), and that goes for both receivers.
