I LOVED our Graco SnugRide, all 3 of them

by   jlljmom ,  Feb 9, 2006
Pros: Very light easy to handle and great price
Cons: The handle would stick when putting it down.
Review: When I found out I was having twins with my second pregnancy I bought 2 of the Graco SnugRides because the price was great, $59.99. We got lots of use out of them so when we were surprised with pg#3(I have an older son then the twins) I knew that ...

Graco: My First Baby Car Seat Turned Out to be a Good Purchase

by   Bryan_Carey ,  Dec 13, 2005
Pros: Easy to place on base and remove; adjustable handle
Cons: Weight; Reassembly takes patience; Awkward to carry
The Bottom Line: This is a very good car seat from the people at Graco
Review: Being a new parent brings with it many rewards, many challenges, and many requirements. Babies are cute and fun, but they also bring with them several new responsibilities that must be met. One of the most important is the need for a good car seat and my ...

Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat 8647: Girlie Car Seat for Girl #2

by   pippadaisy , top reviewer in Kids & Family at Epinions.com ,  Oct 18, 2005
Pros: cute patterns, nicely updated features
Cons: the handle mechanism
The Bottom Line: The Bottom Line is still in shock over this whole "new baby equipment" issue and is off to have a Cosmo.
Review: When I found myself unexpected pregnant with child number four (don't ever trust a tubal ligation!), my first panicked thought was "I have nothing left!" Since my husband and I were sure we were done after our third child, I had gotten rid of most of my ...

Waste of Money

by   mcg8302 ,  May 22, 2005
Pros: Removable from bases so easy to switch between cars makes this seat convenient.
Cons: Height limit and straps are the reason I would not recommend this seat.
Review: With the 26 inch limit on this seat, we had to buy a new seat at 7 months and our daughter is not tall for her age. Also, the straps sit uncomfortably along my daughter's neck, causing irritation. I like that it could be moved between bases (and hence ...

safety first

by   mom2emma ,  Mar 31, 2005
Pros: Easy to use and adjust
Cons: strap adjuster and boot
The Bottom Line: An OK seat at an average price. Safety tests well and comes in many designs so I was actually able to get a girly seat.
Review: I know an infant carseat isn't "needed" but not knowing how big my 3rd would be I decided I felt better having one. My oldest was big enough she could have skipped it but my 2nd would have been lost in a convertible. I opted for the Snugride because it ...

Does the job

by   theknabs ,  Mar 12, 2005
Pros: easy to install/use, comfortable for infant, non-skid, "rocker" bottom, variety of patterns, additional base
Cons: heavy, awkward handling, infant headrest too small, matching stroller is heavy & awkward
The Bottom Line: Overall, I recommend this product. However, give it careful consideration if you want an easier travel system or stroller to snap it into.
Review: I originally was living abroad in the Cayman Islands, so it was difficult to pick out baby gear via research on the internet. However, I registered for the Sterling 7425 travel system in Clarion print because it was a light print and I didn't want it to ...

Great car seat!!!

by   culebrita ,  Mar 3, 2005
Pros: Weight, cost, look, comfort
Cons: nope
Review: I love this seat!!! I bought this for my daughter before she was born. I loved the color of it and also it was one of the lighter ones I found. I liked the foot cover it comes with, this is especially good for squirmy infants as they can not kick off a ...

Love it!

by   imowensmom ,  Feb 26, 2005
Pros: This car seat was light weight and well built.
Cons: the handle of the car seat can only be lowered using two hands
Review: I really liked this car seat for my son. It was sturdy and easy to use. I thought it was a lot lighter weight-wise then other models and very comfortable to ...

Did the job but didn't love it.

by   coopsmom ,  Feb 24, 2005
Pros: Easy to take the baby on a shopping cart in it
Cons: Too snug too fast
Review: This was a great car seat for the first 3 months but once my baby began to grow it became tight very quickly. I found it difficult to get him in and out of it and he was very uncomfortable. It is a nice carseat but it just seems over padded and super ...

Very Versatile

by   mjohnson815 ,  Jan 31, 2005
Pros: I don't have to take the whole seat with me.
Cons: The seat is still heavy.
Review: This car seat has been worth every penny as I don't have to worry about unbuckling and buckle the seat when I want to go some where. I snap it in and snap it out. It is very ...
