No Regrets!

We got this seat for our new son in the Emerson pattern which is no longer available :(. We also got the Metrolite stroller in the same pattern. We have been extremely pleased with this seat! We did our research before deciding on a car seat and found that this one was both economical and very safe. I love that we can all have a base (mom, dad, grandma, nanny, etc) and just move the basket from car to car. We also invested in the swing frame for the graco seat and have never looked back! It has been wonderful having the option of leaving a sleeping baby in his car seat as you transition him to his swing. I highly recommend it! My son is now six months old and weighing in at over 18 pounds so I have purchased a larger convertable seat for my vehicle, however we still plan on using this one with everyone else hopefully through the end of the summer. The only down side is that it takes up a lot of space in the rear of a smaller vehicle, but that is to be expected when you are wanting to be safe! I was also hoping that my son would last in it longer but it looks like he will outgrow it soon. I would have still purchased it even knowing how big he was going to be. The times that we have had to remove the cover and wash it were no problem. You do have to thread the shoulder straps through but it is very user friendly. Everything washes well. It did come with accessories that we have never used (the head positioner and boot) but it was nice to have the option with a smaller baby or colder climate.
