Love the SnugRide!

I have a new baby and have just bought all of the new baby necessities. An infant carrier/car seat was a major item, we could not leave the hospital without it!

We researched many infant carriers for months but ultimately decided on the GRACO Snugride 8649 for a variety of reasons:

It is nicely padded with Gracopedic foam and it is easy to sponge off and keep clean.

Double infant head support and harness covers. His little head does not flop around with this support.

All weather boot with blanket protects baby from elements.

5-Point harness for a snug fit in five places - our son is not going anywhere when he is strapped in. I feel very secure when using this and transporting him from the car to his stroller.

Click-in-carrier and stay-in-car base allows for a smooth transition from car to stroller. The base was easy to install and is secure in the car. It is easy to snap in the carrier to the base. It makes a click sound when locked in. It is also easy to get the carrier out - red handles on the top and bottom push in to release. This rear facing car seat is safe and easy.

Ergonomic, adjustable handle for added carrying comfort. The handle has several lock positions and clicks when in position. The handle can fold all the way back to provide a stable seating when on a table or the floor.

Will last until our son reaches 20 pounds.

Compatible - works very well with our non Graco strollers or store buggies. We simply fit in the stroller/buggy and off we go.
