What a fantastic way to ease into parenting!
Date of Review: Feb 8, 2008
The Bottom Line: Graco is a trusted brand and they have done it again with this stroller and carseat. Won't ever have to try another manufacturer.
We LOVE our Graco Quattro Tour System. Not only has it worked well for our first daughter, but we are working on a double stroller now that we have a second daughter.
Pluses:
-Adjustable sun shade - non of these crappy, flimsy ones that don't even cover baby's face. This sun shade is great and I was able to use it with an umbrella to keep my newborn from getting one drop of rain on her in a fierce thunderstorm we were caught in.
-Huge storage basket. There is no divider so this can actually fit a large diaper bag - we had the matching regular-sized Graco diaper bag and it fit quite well.
-Plenty of parent storage - two cup holders (hey, Dad wants to go on evening walks too!) a large place to store keys, and a separate somewhat "secret" storage enclosed tray for wallet
-Fantastic wheel, suspension system that kept even my newborn from banging around too much (and we often went on walks on a gravel path right behind our house).
-Fully reclining bassinet - the bassinet fully encloses - the footrest lifts up and snaps in place so that a newborn could not fall out even if she wanted to!
Cons:
-Wish there was a five-point harness system on ours.
-Wish there were a way to have inflatable wheels so that I could use this stroller for jogging - as it was, I was able to run short distances, but not much more than that (I know, it's not designed that way anyway).
-Wish the handle bar were just a tad bit taller - I'm 5'10" so it's hard to find a stroller that is really easy on my upper back.
