Takes You Back

When you watch “The Goonies” for the first time, it takes you back to when you were younger and you had that certain group of friends that you did everything with. These friends are always looking for adventure, but little did they know they were getting an adventure they would never forget. These five friends Mikey (Sean Astin) he is the leader and believer of the group, his older brother Brand (Josh Brolin), “Mouth” (Corey Feldman) who never stops talking nonsense,” Chuck” (Jeff Cohen) the kid who is very clumsy, and finally “Data” (Jonathon Ke Quan) who always has an idea.
These friends set out to find “One Eyed Willey” a famous pirate who had a treasure that no one had ever found. As they start getting closer to the treasure they run into some trouble. The Fratelli family led by mama (Anne Ramsey) and her ever annoying sons Jake and Francis, who are running from the cops. The five boys are joined up with two girls (Kerri Green and Martha Plumpton), one of them will take a liking to one of the five boys. The “Goonies” have to stay one step ahead of the Fratelli Family to make it to there treasure.
This movie is very enjoyable; it has some very funny parts to it and it also it catches your attention at the beginning. This movie is a great 80’s film, it has adventure, suspense and a little romance.
