The ineffible plan... or is it?

What happens when you entrust the apocalypse into the hands of a yuppy demon and an ambiguously gay angel who've had 6000 years to get accustomed to life on earth? The funniest damn version of the end of the world ever written. Rife with humor, Good Omens will have you reading the book from cover to cover time and time again. Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett did an excellent job in not only imposing their humor on an otherwise humorless subject, but they also managed to maintain an accurate account of the apocalypse as told in the Book of Revelations. The stories of over a dozen different, and seemingly unrelated characters are seamlessly brought together to fight the end of the world, or at least to watch it fall apart like a vintage Bentley in flames. A definite must read for anyone who enjoys, well... anything humorous at all.
