what to have with you when the world ends

Most people are familiar with Neil Gaiman from his work in the Sandman comic books and Terry Pratchet from his Discworld series. But this book has to be one of the best works of fiction that I will ever read. The two main characters are an angel named Azaphrieal and a demon named Crawly. The introduction in the first few pages are a great idea that had me snikering all the while.
The basic premise of the story is what would happen to the world if the Anti-christ had been raised by normal parents and had normal friends. Adam (said anti-christ) was switched at birth with another child and had a very normal childhood while the child he was switched with grew up with Crowley and Azaphrieal teaching him the good and bad of life. Unfortunatly it isn't until the child turns eleven that they relise there was a mistake made. While all this is going on, the four horseman of the apocolpyse have now become bikers and are riding their way down to where Adam has been living to help get the show on the road.
The little side notes all through tthe book added even more wonderful insight and a guest appearence by a Kracken (think clash of the titans) help make this a wonderful read.
When I got my my booked signed, Neil Gaiman stated that they made the devil do it...but Terry Pratchet pointed out that they got the royalties. Pick it up and spend a wonderful afternoon reading.
