The Bottom Line: I would recommend this game to any golf fan, or business lover. I am more interested in how golf courses run now that I have played this game.
Golf Resort Tycoon is a very business oriented game where you own and design a golf course. The designing part of the game is not very detailed, which takes some of the fun out of it. What was surprising to me was the amount of fun I had with the managing part of the game. I never thought I would get that into managing expenses. In the game, you get to build an 18 hole golf course with all the extras. You design the whole thing, putting sand traps and water hazards on the course, as well as all of the rental shops off the course. I found there to be a lot more things to build than I expected, which made the game more enjoyable to me. One thing I have to rag on is the graphics. You think with today's technology the games would look better on the PC. This game looks like it was made 3 years ago. The sound is nothing spectacular, but it doesn't get too annoying. Overall, this game ended up being a lot better than I thought it would be.
