don't use for more than 30 minutes

The GoGo Rider is proclaimed as "The most comfortable carrier" by Infantino. It is recommended for babies 8-23 lbs. It allows baby to face in and face out. It has a little flap to support the back of the head when baby is facing in and it folds down when baby faces out. When baby is facing in his arms go between the velcro opening and the straps w/ the clips. When facing out they can go between there or above the fold-down flap. The carrier does have lots of nice features such as the drawstring pocket on the front that you can store keys and a cellphone or some toys. It also has a small strap at baby's eye level that you can attach a pacifier or small toy to. It also has a section of plastic backed terrycloth material that snaps in and this absorbs any mess baby provides when facing in and prevents from getting onto your clothes. Putting the carrier on and adjusting may be difficult to figure out at first. I had no problem, but my husband needed help. Of course, I read the directions and he didn't. =] Anywho, the main straps criss-cross on your back through a plastic adjusting clip and then buckle at the leg openings. There is a HUGE velcro opening (one on each side) supported by smaller adjustable buckles at baby's tummy level. I did like that the velcro really allows me to fit the carrier to my baby's body. It also has cushion covered straps(one on each side of baby's head) w/ a clip at the end. (You can also adjust the length of that strap to bring smaller babies closer and give bigger babies more room.) The clips attach to a securely sewn strap (attached about bra strap level on the main straps) that has 2 snaps and a D-ring. You move the D-ring above, between, or below the snaps for seat height adjustment. The clips are kinda hard to clip onto the D-ring by myself w/ baby in. Now the most crucial part of this whole thing is the plastic clip the main straps criss-cross through. It is supposed to be below your shoulder blades to carry baby's weight properly. But no matter what type of material my shirt is, the clip ALWAYS moves up between my shoulder blades causing me to ache on the back of my neck and back and baby to move lower and throw off my balance. Re-adjusting the clip is difficult to do by yourself while wearing baby. If I lift baby's bottom with one hand and reach the other arm around I can kinda wiggle it down. But that requires a lot of flexibility on your part. To put baby is in a juggling act. I prefer to undo one side (the velcro w/ buckle and clip to D-ring) and then pick-up baby and fit his leg into the other side, slide his arm in place and then hold him in position while I adjust the velcro, then the buckle and then the clip. I then have to support baby's bottom w/ my hand while I adjust the big buckles on the main straps. I do like this carrier, however I can't wear it for more than 30 minutes a day. I don't have any back problems besides wearing a 15 lbs baby in an ill-fitting carrier.
