Great game for preschoolers!

My son got a Nintendo DS for his birthday this year and I was worried he'd be too young to play most of the games for it. I was excited to see this Diego game because he loves the Nintendo Wii Diego games. This was the game he chose to try out first.

The game was easy to start up and he did it all by himself! He's played it everyday for at least 30 minutes at a time since his birthday and he's never had an issue with it and has never needed to ask for help.

I think this game is great for children ages 3-6, any older than that they will get bored with it extremely fast.

I finally sat down with him and watched him play and I think it's a very cute game. "Diego" will say a word in Spanish and then tell the player to repeat the word into the microphone part of the DS and it actually regonizes the child saying the word. There's also a part where Diego is in a hot air balloon and he tells the child to blow into the microphone part of the DS so the hot air balloon can fly - the faster they blow into it the higher up the balloon goes! It's a great game that the kids actually do more than just push buttons!

My son was already counting in Spanish from watching Dora and Diego shows - but now he's doing even better! This game counts a bit faster than the TV shows and it's helping him even more.

Good graphics, educational, and easy to play - perfect for young children getting the hang of these electronic handhelds!
