Greatly Improved

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the 06 Envoy Denali. Take it for a test drive and see for yourself.
Review: I traded in my 2004 GMC Envoy XUV 4WD for a new 5 passenger 2006 GMC Envoy Denali 2WD. This review will mostly compare the two SUVs. The Denali is a new line for the Envoy in 2006.

2006 Envoy SLT 4.2L 2WD - Sweet Ride

The Bottom Line: An excellent all round compromise of safety, performance, luxury, looks, handling, and hauling. Pity it's so thirsty.

The Bottom Line: Despite a transmission issue - which, I believe was an isolated incident, and which, in any case has been resolved - I highly recommend the Envoy Denali.

The Bottom Line: I would not recommend the Envoy to a friend. It is a very nice suv, but too pricey, and the fuel economy is poor.
