Great Vehicle

Great looking vehicle, gas mileage is ok. It rides like a dream! I really enjoy the XM radio that GM offers free for 3 months. We previously had a 2001 Chevy Blazer, which rode terribly. The comparison is day and night to the Envoy. The interior is well designed and all the buttons and controls are well placed an easy to reach The air conditioner controls and vents for the back row is a great feature. We were debating on whether or not to purchase a Trailblazer versus the Envoy. The Envoy's presentation is much more impressive than the Trailblazer (even though they have the same engine and frame). The interior and "bells and whistles" on the Envoy are much nicer on the Envoy.

We immediately took the Envoy for a test run from Indy to Nashville for a weekend trip. I was very impressed with the gentle ride, minimal wind noise, and comfortable seats. I was able to manage 20 MPG on the highway and 17 MPG around town (both with the air conditioner on). There was plenty of cargo room for the kid items and stuff for Mom and Dad. I test drove a Pathfinder and enjoyed it as much as the Envoy but with the GM discounts being offered, I could not resist going with a GM product. The Envoy rode a little smoother compared to the Pathfinder, but you cant turn your back to Nissan.

The headroom and legroom was comfortable in the front seat for a person that is 6'5", even with the optional sunroof. The backseat was a little cramped for me, but I rarely ride in the back. Someone of average height will be fine in the backseat.

The XM radio is a great feature. I enjoy commercial free, no talk radio. This was perfect. Never lost the signal. The Bose stereo system sounds great in the vehicle. I am very impressed with the improvements in the vehicle compared to the old Blazer version from 2000-2001.

Overall I am very pleased with the Envoy and hope to stay a loyal customer to GM.
