Cosmo Take 2

I have subscribed to this magazine for well over two years, and I have to admit, it is much like Cosmopolitan. Now, that is not necessarily a bad thing. For all the reasons you love Cosmo, you will love Glamour as well.
There is no redundancy in this magazine. It is more like an extension from one to the other. I will admit that Glamour is a bit more classier than Cosmo. I can definitely tell a difference between the two. There seems to be more stories inside rather than simple gossip and glam. Now, don't think that this magazine is going to keep you updated on the current events going on in the world, but there are some thought provoking articles inside. For example, this month, there was an article about liposuction and the dangers involved in getting this procedure done. And it wasn't just one of those lecture-type articles. It was written by Kathy Griffin from Suddenly Susan. I was shocked to read that this lady went through with liposuction. She gave a very candid and honest recollection of what she went through.
There were other articles about people who are in straight relationships and realizing that they are gay, as well as a true story about a woman being strip searched by a police officer.
Not only does Glamour offer articles such as the ones listed above, but it also touches on health and fitness, hair and makeup, sexual questions, answers and suggestions, music interviews, and of course astrology as well as other areas.
My advice is, if you like Cosmo, try Glamour, and if you don't like Cosmo, I would still recommend Glamour. There is a slight difference between the two. The cost of the subscription is very low. I paid 12$ for one year. One dollar a month? Well worth it in my epinion.
