We Know Nearly Every Word!

"Ghost" is a movie that captivates the romantic and stimulates those that enjoy suspense. In my opinion, it is a perfect "date night" movie, as it blends love, suspense and revenge so perfectly.

Once you see the movie, you will see why it won 5 Academy Awards. The acting is wonderful in this movie. Patrick Swayze shows such strength and versatility, while Demi Moore shows that she really does have a soft side. Whoopi Goldberg is ...well... hysterically Whoopi.

The story starts out at Sam (Swayze) is murdered in what appears to be a mugging. Molly (Moore) must now learn to cope and go on with life without her beloved Sam. Sam, in the meantime, has become a spirit, lost somewhere between death and the afterlife. As Sam is trying to figure out what to do, he meets a crazy, bitter spirit (Vincent Schiavelli) in the Subway. This bizarre spirit ends up advising Sam so that he may co-exist between the two worlds.

Finally, Sam returns to his true-love, Molly and begins to realize there is more to his mugging than originally thought. He begins to search for clues and finally digs deep enough to discover the reason behind his murder.

Determined now to warn Molly and get revenge, Sam finds a psychic, Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg) and asks her for help. Oda Mae reluctantly helps Sam and together they work on uncovering the murder plot and saving Molly.

The ending of this movie is one that you will remember for a lifetime. It will bring tears to the eyes of anyone watching, even those who are not typically tissue-holders, like me.

"Ghost" is one of our favorite movies. If you haven't already seen this movie, run to BlockBuster and rent it. Or if you are looking for a great gift to buy, this would be wonderful! It is very much worth the money you spend.
