Pros: Vocals. Production. Lyrics. Powerful. Entertaining. Beautiful. Intense.
Cons: There is no rapping! Two tracks.
The Bottom Line: I love this album. Get it, you will too.
Review: Yeah, we remember that day folks when Janet Jackson revealed her breast on national television in front of millions of people. She got away with it, saying that the only thing that was supposed to come off was the top part covering the cover on top of ...

Pros: How different it sounds from the last 2 albums
Cons: None
Review: The second this album was released I got it and I felt so proud of myself. I think this album will bring up PaPa Roach as a better band than they have ever been. The number 1 focus on this album is how different Jacoby Shaddix(aka Coby Dick) sounds on ...

Evolution Has Been Kind to the Roach |
|||
|
Pros: Solid hard rock; musical and lyrical growth
Cons: Some cliches; not every track stands out
The Bottom Line: Insert OJ joke here.
Review: When Papa Roach released Infest, of course it became a huge hit. Rap-metal was all the rage in 2000. But it didn't take long for what was such a cool, in-your-face style to become watered down. Now it's looked at as the century's first ...

The surprise of 2004 -- Papa Roach doesn't suck |
|||
|
Pros: Messages of hope and social relevance in a dynamic musical package
Cons: A few scattered failures
The Bottom Line: Once you get over the shock that Papa Roach wrote this album, you're left with a fine piece of work.
Review: There's legitimate debate to be had among music lovers as to whether nü-metal has much lasting value, but about some bands there seemed to be little room to argue -- if Linkin Park frequently epitomized the subgenre's strengths, Papa Roach was ...

Pros: No more rapcore/metal influences, just good solid modern hard rock! :)
Cons: Some generic rock, some repetitious moments, mostly broken relationship themes, short album length... :(
The Bottom Line: Dont make the same mistake I did by dismissing them altogether. Just find some samples, you might just be impressed enough with the music to buy the album...
Review: Papa Roach formed in 1993 and hail from Northern California. They went triple-platinum in 2000 with Infest on the strength of alternative rap/metal hits Last Resort, Between Angels and Insects, Blood ...

You Too Can Be Getting Away With Murder If You Buy This Album

Pros: Tracks 2 and 5-12; Shaddix's screaming has gotten better, and dare I say, cool.
Cons: Tracks 1,3, and 4; some hollow-sounding drumming
The Bottom Line: Papa Roach puts out a very good album that should help to erase the mental scars of Lovehatetragedy.
Review: Papa Roach has been releasing music for just over ten years. In that time, they've released four albums and a few EP's. The rap-metal band from California put out their first album in 1997. There were very few copies made, so most people don't ...

Pros: The best papa roach has came out with
Cons: the occasional bad song, a little emo
The Bottom Line: If you enjoy hard rock chances are you will like the cd. As far as buying it I reccomend it.
Review: Well after a 2 year or so silence from the NOcal band, a sobered up Jacoby Shaddix and Papa Roach returned with their new album titled Getting Away With Murder. The up-side is Jacoby and the band have matured in their music, lyrics, and concerts. ...

Papa Roach - Getting Away With...Generic, Mindless Rock Music

Pros: The title track and "Scars" -- both of the hit singles, to no surprise
Cons: Boring, generic, unmemorable. Tons of atrocious filler
The Bottom Line: o_O. O_o. o_O. O_o.
Review: Flashback Time: It's the year 2000. Rap-metal is all the rage. Papa Roach pops up out of nowhere and gives pre-teens a new anthem to crank up in their bedrooms when their step-mom grounds them. The pseudo-suicidal, tortured rocker "Last ...
