Pros: Great acting from all concerned, including Hackman and Duvall; Studi is superb as Geronimo

Cons: None, really, but the film doesn't cater to John Wayne sentiments about the Red Man

The Bottom Line: One of the best Westerns of the 1990s, and a probing look at a part of our history that needs re-examining, and wrongs that need to be righted.

The Bottom Line: This is the Indian side of the equation. This is a very good flick. See it and enjoy it, but read your history if you want the whole story.

Review: "Geronimo" claims to be 'based on a true story'. I suppose that's true in a general sense, but it's also current day Hollywood political correctness gone mad. The movie portrays Apaches as peaceful, honorable people who only want to be left alone....
