This George Foreman is no CHAMP

The Bottom Line: I don't recommend this. Difficulty in cleaning by hand, poor browning and uneven heating.
Review: My only previous experience with George Foreman grills was the small GF "Champ" which was the smallest GF grill. I got it for $1.00 by joining Netmarket.com (and then canceled before the 90 day trial was up to keep the grill).

The Bottom Line: This heavy, clunky grill does not make good tasting food. It is bland, overcooked and rubbery. Avoid this unless you are lazy or don't care that your food tastes gross.
Review: As someone who hardly ever has the time or space to cook a real meal ... I am single, I have a small kitchen and a busy work schedule ... I heard about the George Foreman grill from a lot of college students with whom I worked. They swear by it .....

The Bottom Line: George Foreman makes it really easy to cook meat inside. You don't get the nice flavour of a BBQ, but it does the job.

Hate the Removable Grill Plates

Review: This thing is dangerous. I've used it several times and the stupid grill plates refuse to lock in place. I am always afraid that whenever I cook with it I'm going to burn myself badly when the upper grill plate disengages.

The Bottom Line: This GF is a great combo of user-controllable function and quick meal preparation. It cleans quickly and looks attractive on the open counter-top. It's well worth the $69.
