I purchased my 22" HD2200 Gateway LCD / 1080P HDTV Monitor in February of this year (2008) and was highly disappointed. After using it for 3 weeks, I noticed a pixel went out and I had a small, red dot on the left/middle-lower part of my screen. Not a big deal as I could only notice it when in my desktop (all black background).
Here it is, Nov. 1 and the monitor has stopped working altogether.
To fix it, I will need to pay the shipping to send the monitor to Texas for them to repair or replace it. Not only is this a hassle, but can be costly - $50-$75 in places.
