Will NOT play Audible.com media

Pros:  Good sound quality Convenient design (flash drive style)

Cons:  Difficult to use controls Doesn't play Audible.com media as advertised

Author's Review

I got this player primarily to listen to music while I jog, and for that it works rather well. The sound quality is good, and I like the Flash Drive design.

Like others, I think the buttons lack a lot to be desired, and are hard to navigate.

The main reason I am posting this review is to warn people who may be buying it as a device to listen to audio from Audible.com

It says on the back of my box "Plays Audible audio books..." The manual even talks about the function and the included CD has links to Audible.com

BUT THE DEVICE ISN'T ONE OF THE DEVICES AUDIBLE.COM SUPPORTS

And Tech Support from Gateway says that there are no future plans for a firmware upgrade. So, do not buy this device if listening to Audible.com material is one of your reasons for purchase.
