Pros: Size. Ease of loading music. Earphones are nice.

Cons: Stupid thumb pad. So-so sound.

Not a bad MP3 player but the outdated DMP-300 it replaced is much better. The stupid thumb pad is unreliable and hard to use in the case. Mine has a habit of shutting off on its own when I'm mowing my yard, even with enough battery charge, that is the only time though that it seems to happen. Sound isn't bad but it isn't great either. EQ function is rather weak. The 300 is much better in my opinion and Gateway needs to bring it back and cancel this one. Who cares about the radio function? Reception with things like these MP3 players is always bad anyway. Battery life is less than impressive as well.
