Not ready for prime time

Date of Review:  Jun 11, 2009
The Bottom Line: Given its premium price I suggest the reader avoid the device until Garmin gets the product where it needs to be.

Not perfect, but best MC GPS in current market

Date of Review:  Nov 24, 2009
The Bottom Line: The best MC GPS on the market, but expensive.
Review: I purchased the Zumo 660 last Spring.  Setup was simple, but the bolts provided would not allow me to install on my BMW1200C handlebars.  A quick trip to the hardware store for some 1.5" bolts solved this problem.  Attachment of cables to battery...

TomTom vs. Garmin on a Motorcycle - Who Wins? (Garmin Zumo 660 Does)

Date of Review:  Sep 8, 2009
The Bottom Line: After extensive use of TomTom Riders and the Garmin Zumo 660, the Zumo wins the day handily although it is almost twice the price.
Review: Motorcyclists choice - Garmin Zumo 660 or TomTom Rider 2?

BACKGROUND:

A weatherprooof GPS device can be a godsend for a motorcyclist. Bikers have both hands occupied with the task of operating the vehicle. Paper maps are...

Positive results

Date of Review:  Jul 9, 2009
The Bottom Line: Worthwhile, but get a stereo bluetooth headset for the hemlet to really enjoy all the features.  Overpriced, but really has no rivals for features.  Prefer it to the 550.
Review: The previous review had me wondering if I had the same unit?

GPS installation.

Installed the ram mount, on my Kawi V at the Clutch clamp.  Very easy.  Ran the power cord myself, crimped ring terminals to the ends, and used the line...
