Pros: Bright, colorful screen; easy-to-follow directions that work.
Cons: No carrying case! No Europe map!
The Bottom Line: The Bottom Line patches into GPS satellites using the metal fillings in its molars.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Sometimes I am capable of the most breathtaking hypocrisy, which stuns even me with its magnitude. I scoffed and scoffed at the ubiquity of Garmins, mocked them as overpriced toys for people too lazy to use Mapquest, and figured that with this, as...

Pros: Easy to use, read and understand. Great list of point of interest.
Cons: Flip out antenna, Limited spoken languages, old map data, extra cost accessories, limited dash mounting.
The Bottom Line: All in all, a decent unit that does quite a lot straight out of the box. However, a few of annoying glitches.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I'll start off first by saying that this is a very useful cool device loaded with lots of great features. I'm just a little disappointed that I must give up features to get others. I started out purchasing the Garmin nuvi 250 but my wife said she...

Pros: Ease of use; large bright screen; good voice prompts; lots of extra features
Cons: Not the cheapest; speaker could be louder; lots of extra features I won't ever use.
The Bottom Line: Recommended for its ease of use, large bright screen, and overall value. Not recommended if you need FM Traffic capability.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Right out of the box, the Nuvi 650 can get you going pretty much right away even without looking at the instructions.
BACKGROUND: One of my cars has a built-in navigator, which usually costs a premium. We concluded that it would be... |

Pros: Price is right, considering the time and gas wasted when you are lost.
Cons: None, but you need to remove it from your car to prevent theft.
The Bottom Line: Buy the Garmin Nuvi 650. It's a reliable device that will save you time, money and gas.

Review: I recently purchased a Garmin Nuvi 650 for $350.00. I decided to buy it for my Toyota Camry after renting a Garrmin Nubi 350 with my Dollar Rent A Car rental in Dallas, which I was able to rent for $11.00 per day. I have used GPS devices for some...

Pros: Satellites tell me where I am. Calculates & redraws routes ina flash. Great Battery Life.
Cons: Can't pre-program routes.
The Bottom Line: If you can get a good deal, buy it. If you want something to keep you from getting lost, use it. It's a Garmin, you can't go wrong.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've had mine a little over a year and have been very pleased with it. Its helped me get past more than a few traffic snargles by allowing me to find a side street a block or two over that took me past the traffic jam.
I think it has an ambient... |

Review: How ever did I live without this? I bought my Garmin nuvi 650 GPS for Christmas 2007 from Costco.com. I find it very handy to use. It has a great battery life (NO ciggy lighter so this was important to me). It plays mp3's, photo uploads and uses a...

Pros: It's accurate and will get you there.
Cons: Extra features don't work well, software is clunky.
The Bottom Line: Prices have dropped so this may still be a good buy, but don't expect it to function as advertised or to equal the (more expensive) units built into new cars.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Let me start by saying that GPS (any GPS) is amazing and I will always have one. I bought the Nuvi 650 about six months ago because it was supposed to be state of the art and had a lot of extra features that seemed useful. At first glance out of the...

Cons: Wants to send you on the highway and doesn't always know the quickest route.

Review: Our Garmin Nuvi is amazing. You will never be lost again. The wide screen allows you to quickly glance at the map. One improvement should be on the feature which helps you search for a restaurant. If you are travelling on the highway, you can ask...

Review: I just picked up a new one from Costco.com for 299. plus tax and shipping. I don't know how long this deal will last. I received it 5 days after my order.
