Pros: Size, features, radio, and GPS location sending
Cons: Color options, battery use.
The Bottom Line: Excellent new venture adding GPS location sending to FRS/GMRS two-way radio service.
Review: Garmin has been an industry leader in Global Positioning Service (GPS) for a long time. There really are only two at the retail, everyday consumer level that provide GPS, Garmin and Magellan. Now, Garmin has added two-way radio features to their latest ...

Pros: Best little GPS I've ever used in the field, water or driving!
Cons: directions, they seem to be repetitive in some areas.
Review: I have no idea what that looser was talking about. Maybe he's so whip simple that he needs a map to find the latrine! I found the 110 an extra easy GPS to operate. To track the trip, you just need to change your range viewing distance to a lower number ...

Pros: Easy To learn Interface, games, unique Identification Icons
Cons: No data Cable Thumbstick for data entry is tedious, looses reception in heavy tree cover
The Bottom Line: Recommended for an entry level gps user or one who wants basic, no frills, and for groups such as hunters for both communication and location services
Review: I had the opportunity to use the Garmin Rino 110 GPS receiver that a friend had purchased for a hunting trip. I was able to use the unit for a number of months this summer and have found the unit to be great for hiking and other “non-demanding” ...

Pros: GPS works more or less as expected
Cons: Radio is virtually useless in the woods.
Review: I am very happy with the GPS functions and screens. The GPS does lose its satellite fix more often than my previous Garmin 12 handheld but overall I am satisfied. I am not very happy with the two-way radio setup. I purchased the unit with the hope ...

Pros: The yellow case makes it easy to find after throwing the unit in utter frustration.
Cons: Everything about this unit was unbearable. Stick to a map and compass.
The Bottom Line: Avoid it, unless you really enjoy being frustrated. This unit does not function as easily as its marketing would have you believe.
Review: Well, after a series of frustrating and ultimately futile forays trying to get the Garmin Rhino 110 to work properly, I found myself thoroughly unhappy with this product. And I started off being really excited to get the 110 ! This began with the ...

|
Pros: I got my money refunded!!
Cons: Very difficult to use. Be ready to call the Garmin tech help lines alot!
The Bottom Line: The Garmin 110 proved to be woefully bad: incomprehensible owner manuals, impossible to figure features of the machine. Get ready to call the tech help desk a lot!
Review: Here's a clue as to how well the Garmin 110 performed: The FIRST unit, brand new out of the box, managed to hook up with the Satellites just once and had to be shipped back to Garmin for a replacement. If you can't hook up with a satellite, the unit is ...

Pros: Good display, pretty easy to use. Fair battery life.
Cons: Became problematic, unreliable and ultimately unusable.
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend the garmin 110 because it will develop problems in time.
Review: You can read my previous review in the garmin 120 category. My garmin 110 started off good. But after using it for some time it started to develop problems. Such as... For no reason at all the garmin would lock up. The display would remain locked. ...
