Epinions Confidence to go anywhere

by  motorcop28,  Aug 31, 2008
Pros: Touch screen, bluetooth phone link, MP3 player
Cons: Annual updates are pricey!
The Bottom Line:

Easy to see wide screen, great phone adaptability, clear text to street directions

Review: I purchased this GPS to replace a dying Quest 2 unit. The Quest 2 took me to the wrong place, got me lost and locked up...not good! I have owned this unit for a year now, taking it on several thousands of miles across the United States...and ...

Epinions The Nuvi 660's little brother packs a solid punch in the GPS market

by  jag2112,  Jan 29, 2007
Pros: Same great Nuvi functionality as the higher-priced 660 line. Great screen. Spoken-street directions.
Cons: No QWERTY keyboard or external volume control.
The Bottom Line: A great GPS unit at an affordable price. The Nuvi 360 should be on everyone's list.
Review: I recently wrote a review on the Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS system which is one of the best consumer GPS units on the market. One of the biggest hurdles facing the 660, however, is the steep price (in excess of $700 as of this writing). Though I happen to ...

Epinions Garmin Nuvi 360 GPS - Never Get Lost Again

by  jackai,  Sep 23, 2007
Pros: Accurate, portable, Blutetooth compatibility.
Cons: The sound level can be a slight issue, the price can come down some.
The Bottom Line: Now when someone tells you to "Get Lost", you won't be able to with the Garmin Nuvi at your side.
Review: I've lived in the Bronx all my life and among the many perks of living in New York City, there's none quite more spoiling than the public transportation system. Since it has performed the chauffeuring duties so ably, I always felt that getting a ...

Epinions The Epitome of Portable GPS Systems - the Nuvi 660

by  jag2112,  Dec 19, 2006
Pros: Gorgeous screen, slim profile, excellent functionality, pre-loaded maps, Mp3 player, Live Traffic reports and more.
Cons: Hefty price. Average Voice Quality. No external volume Control. No QWERTY keyboard
The Bottom Line: Price aside, the Nuvi 660 is the best portable GPS system available today.
Review: Garmin has been around since the late 1980's and are credited for creating the first portable GPS system. So it’s no surprise that one of the best, portable GPS systems on the market today would come from this innovative company. The Nuvi 660 is ...

Epinions The Factory Navigation Rival. Oddly Enough, It's Portable.

by  stavesacre21,  Dec 19, 2006
Pros: Clarity, Screen Size, Portability, FM transmitter, Integrated Traffic Receiver, Bluetooth Capable, Spoken Streets, Great Design
Cons: Price, Battery Life, May Obstruct Visual Field, Minor Map Inconsistencies
The Bottom Line: Rivaling not only the portable market, the 660 also gives most factory car navigation systems a run for their money. Pricey for a portable, but cheap in comparison!
Review: After having had my Nuvi 350 for only a matter of a month, I was finding myself more and more drawn towards the ever-growing aurora of the newest and more innovative Garmin out there…the 660. Little subtle differences had caught my attention, such as ...

Epinions Currently this GPS is the top of the heap

by  gunf1ghter,  Feb 11, 2007
Pros: Excellent GPS, great reception, hoards of extra features, media player, traffic
Cons: no multi segment route capability, expensive
The Bottom Line: The best out there, period.
Review: I have been lusting after the Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS since the unit became available (early last year) but the $1000 price tag kept me at bay. With prices on the Nuvi 660 recently falling into the sub $700 range I finally broke down and purchased one. ...

by  jatooley,  Dec 8, 2006
Pros: Super small, Large outstanding display, Bluetooth! Quick start up, FM Modulator, Excellent Search
Cons: Expensive but worth every penny, icons not user selectable.
The Bottom Line: I highly highly recommend this product. First class state of the art!
Review: Updated 12/25/06 Merry Christmas. I apologize for any confusion, but when I searched for a Nuvi 660 the day I tried my unit out, there were zero reviews written. I wrote the first one, but there was an error in how it was indexed, so now it shows up ...

Epinions You'll never be lost!

by  gunner69,  Feb 1, 2007
Pros: Easy to learn to use, great screen both in daylight and nite, easily read
Cons: Sometimes not loud enough, directions are on a CD.
The Bottom Line: A little pricey, but a great unit with plenty of customizing options, with a great screen.
Review: We have never owned nor utilized an auto-type GPS unit. I NEVER get lost and have a keen sense of direction. My son, however, seems to get lost everytime he drives back to college--over the same route! He has no sense of direction, so we decided as a ...
