This is around the 7th GPS that I have owned in the last 15 years, is by far the best street GPS I have tried yet, and at the sub $300 price for a refurb, it is a steal! I've had it for about 2 months now and I have not had any problems or am I longing for any changes. I find the routing to be the best I have ever used, even knowing where some odd traffic regs (no turns or one ways) are and routing accordingly where other GPSs have had problems. It has a very inuitive, simple to use touch screen interface and a side benefit to the large screen is that the funtions are much easier for my chubby fingers to use than on a smaller screen. In my van I have it hooked up to a backup camera and it's pretty cool the way it automatically changes to camera view when I put the trans in reverse. I've been very disappointed in GPSs available for motorcycles as all the ones specifically for motorcycles have small approx 3.5" screens. Although I have managed to use a number of these smaller screen GPSs, I always felt they were too damn small for my failing old eyes to see. That's not a problem with the 7200! This is the first color GPS I have used that is large enough and bright enough that I can reliably see it on a sunny day even with polarized sun glasses. That's not to say it's not a little dim in direct light, but I can at least make it out with no problem. I also like the way it auto dims as dusk comes and then automatically switches to night mode as it gets dark. For motorcycle use, Ram makes a very solid mount for the 7200 which incorporates part of the stock mount and allows for very fast, simple removal without having to unplug any wires. I do wish it was waterproof so when I use it on my motorcycle in the rain I wouldn't have to remove it or cover it with a plastic bag. This is a BIG GPS. On a motorcycle there is certainly no missing it, and on your dash it may be a little TOO big for use in a car. I use it in a full sized van and have it mounted towards the middle of the dash as it was too large to be mounted directly if front of me. If you want a big screen GPS, I can recommend this unit with no reservations.
